Vanguard: The Life Ticker

Vanguard helps investors plan for the long-term. They don't get worried every time the stock market twitches or the news sounds dire. As a result, they experience a real sense of security and peace-of-mind about their plans for the future. The Life Ticker campaign communicates this by appropriating the symbol of the market's instability - the stock ticker - and using it to talk about the ways in which Vanguard investors are able to enjoy their lives today. The launched with an extended spot featuring real Vanguard clients. A case-study of the campaign is included below. Art Direction by creative powerhouse Mary O’Keefe.

The online videos and Youtube content led to the Life Ticker website, where we asked users to identify the things that truly are important to them as a reflection on the question "what are we really investing for?" They expressed this by creating and sharing their own tickers, populated with words representing their true priorities.
